Hope. That was the word that resonated through the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at the inaugural Building the Dream Luncheon.

With nearly 600 civic, business, and philanthropic leaders, the MLK Community Health Foundation celebrated the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a day filled with inspiration. We shared our vision as we continue our work to open a private, state-of-the-art hospital for South Los Angeles in 2015. It was the beginning we had hoped for.
