Aja Baker is a Community Relations Manager with Bank of America, serving Los Angeles County. In this role, she manages a number of corporate social responsibility initiatives including local philanthropy, community reinvestment, community engagement, volunteerism and corporate sponsorships throughout the region. Aja works closely with the bank’s senior executives and national marketing partners to activate and leverage several valuable enterprise assets and partnerships that impact Los Angeles while also overseeing the bank’s University and Workforce strategy in Los Angeles.
Since joining Bank of America in 2007, Aja has held a variety of assignments in Retail Banking, Enterprise Business and Community Engagement, and Global Marketing and Corporate Affairs. Aja is actively involved in Bank of America’s Black Executive Leadership Team and represents the bank on numerous external projects. She is also an Executive Board of Director for the Greater Los Angeles African American Chamber of Commerce’s (GLAAACC) Education Fund and Foundation.
Aja received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of California, Davis and her Master of Arts degree in Radio and Television from San Francisco State University. She currently resides with her husband and daughter in Los Angeles.
