When Kellie Hart took up cycling to stay active and connected to friends during the pandemic, she set herself and her community on a journey toward entrepreneurship and revitalization. What began as a solo ride turned into group rides an then into a cycling movement.
RideWitUs offers a safe community for people of all different backgrounds to come together and share their passion for cycling. In just over a year, members have flocked to the group. Today's rides average 90 riders, with as many as 150 on some days.
To serve the community demand for the sport, Kellie added a storefront and clubhouse. Rides now start from the bike shop. Future plans include using the lot and shop as a community space. She envisions a juice shop, outdoor market, and other wellness offerings for to promote healthy community gatherings.
A former college basketball player, Kellie has a business administration degree. She is mom to her son, Brave.
