The Annenberg Foundation awarded a 2013 grant of $151,880 for planning and pilot work related to the hospital’s Learning Center. 

MLKCH has been awarded a grant to implement the Welcome Baby Program, an initiative created by First 5 LA to help give children the best possible start in life. 

Without MLKCH maternity services, more than half of the women in South Los Angeles travel far from their community to obtain maternity care. 

In October 2014, the Good Hope Medical Foundation issued a challenge grant to kick off our Advanced Care Program planning and first-stage pilot. 

The David & Lucile Packard Foundation awarded a grant of $800,000 in support of the hospital’s expansion of maternity services and programs.
