Meet our lactation expert

Lydia Boyd is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Certified Blactation Educator (CBE) - Expert, Certified Lactation Educator (CLE), Breastfeeding Peer Counselor (BPC), and Doula with years of experience supporting birthing and breastfeeding families. At the MLKCH Lactation Clinic she provides compassionate, supportive guidance to new moms who want to breastfeed or who need general postpartum advice. "When you have someone on your side, who understands your struggle, it makes it so much better," she says.

The clinic provides breastfeeding support to all mothers, insured or uninsured, in the South LA community and beyond.
