Wanda Cole-Frieman is a seasoned talent acquisition executive with more than 25 years of recruitment experience. She brings a wealth of expertise across industries, including financial services, high tech, executive search, and healthcare, with a focus on talent attraction, succession planning and team engagement.

She currently serves as Senior Vice President of Talent Acquisition at CommonSpirit Health, where she leads a national team of more than 400 professionals responsible for hiring over 50,000 employees annually, including clinicians. She has played a critical role in shaping recruitment strategies, leading transformational initiatives, and navigating complex merger integrations. Her leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic ensured a swift and effective hiring response, minimizing disruptions in patient care. She also advises CommonSpirit’s CEO and board members on recruitment and retention strategies, recently leading succession efforts for eight executive leadership roles.

Ms. Cole-Frieman also serves on the board of Stepful, Inc., an early-stage healthcare training organization dedicated to closing workforce gaps, reducing costs, and expanding economic opportunities in the healthcare sector. Additionally, she is a board member for Breast Cancer Prevention Partners and Running for a Better Oakland and remains actively engaged with her alumnae association.

Ms. Cole-Frieman holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Barnard College, Columbia University.
