Dr. Jason E. Prasso is the Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at MLK Community Healthcare (MLKCH). He also serves as Medical Director of MLKCH’s Pulmonary Function Laboratory and Associate Medical Director of the Intensive Care Unit.
He joined MLKCH in 2017 after finishing his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at UCLA. Prior to that, Dr. Prasso served as an instructor at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center, where he also completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Prasso earned his medical degree from the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University.
