Visiting hours and guidelines
Help keep our patients safe and comfortable during your visit
Hospital Visiting Hours
- Standard Hospital Rooms: 8 a.m. – 10 p.m. daily
- Patients in shared rooms: 1 visitor at a time
- Patients in private rooms: Up to 2 visitors at a time
- Emergency Department (ED): 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Up to 2 visitors allowed at a time
- Intensive Care Unit (ICU): 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Up to 2 visitors allowed at a time
- Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU): 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Up to 2 visitors allowed at a time
- Labor & Delivery: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Up to 2 visitors allowed at a time
Visitor Check-In
- All visitors must sign in at the main hospital lobby and wear a visitor badge
- Children under 18 must be with an adult at all times.
- Security screenings required
When Visitors May Not Be Allowed
Sometimes, we may need to limit visitors for safety or medical reasons, including:
- If the patient requests no visitors
- If there is a legal order (such as a restraining order)
- If a visitor’s behavior is disruptive or unsafe for patients or staff
- If a visitor has a contagious illness or has been recently exposed to one
- During a public health emergency or an infectious disease outbreak
- If a patient in a shared room needs emergency care or a private conversation with their doctor
