Dr. Lurvey supervises the MLKCH maternity department
Dr. Nathana Lurvey is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist (also known as an OB or OB/GYN, for short) and the chair of the Women’s and Children’s Department at Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital. She leads our team of board-certified obstetricians/gynecologists and certified nurse midwives who deliver babies born in our hospital.
Dr. Lurvey is on staff at Eisner Pediatric & Family Medical Center in Los Angeles and South Bay Family Health Care in Inglewood. She earned her medical degree from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. From there she moved to California to complete her internship and residency at the University of California San Diego Department of Reproductive Medicine.
