Creating a Caring Community, One Card at a Time

Once again, people from across LA are joining us in support of healthy families by sending birthday cards to mothers and their babies at MLKCH.

Turn your Mother’s Day wish into a gift. Now through May 13, each Mother’s Day e-card sent generates a $5 gift to our hospital.

The ways in which we go above and beyond—for our patients and for each other—inspire others to join our hospital community.

The Weingart Foundation and Ballmer Group awarded the grant in January 2018.

The opening of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital was a front page story in the Tuesday, July 7, 2015 edition of the Los Angeles Times.

Our new Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital is officially open! On August 7, 2015, we made history in an official public dedication ceremony.

The hospital became fully licensed, accredited, and opened to the public on July 7, 2015.

Our Chief Medical Officer teamed with the American Heart Association for Power Sunday in February 2014.
